As far as i can see, this years X-Factor will be a female dominated affair, or at least it ought to be, for the simple reason that the five best singers in the competition are all women, and i may say, all women with great individual talents, three of whom i especially like.
However, at the moment i can't decide which of my personal favourites is the more likely winner, they're all so different and each have so much to offer that i'm sure they'll all make highly succesful careers for themselves in future within their differing musical fields...they'd all be made very welcome within my own CD collection.
Diana Vickers is a delicate and unique talent whom i would dearly love to see win the show, she has the shy aura of a little lost fairy and is gifted with a precious and quite unmistakable voice. I really don't think that she quite realises just how special she is, which is all part of her charm.

Ruth Lorenzo has the divine voice and image to perfectly suit her Pop-Opera crossover ambitions, both looking and sounding absolutely Gorgeous (with a capital G) in every performance. Whether or not she sings in her native Spanish is to me irrelevant, class is class and this diva is absolutely bursting with it.

Laura White has been outstanding right from the earliest autitions and has never failed to impress me, an obvious star in the making who would win with ease were not the competition so fierce this year...whoever wins, and i really hope it will be one of this glorious trio, i'm confident that this years X-Factor will fulfill its early promise of being my most enjoyable yet.

I must say they all look gorgeous to me. May the best one win.
