It does look a bit ginger
, i remarked to my wife this week as she stood before me having applied her latest bottle of blonde hair dye...an idle comment which caused her to instantly dash away to sort it out.

By the time she reappeared a little while later, her hair was looking immaculate, glossy and, as always, perfectly blonde with not a hint of ginger in sight.

But the wheels of my mind had already started turning and i was asking myself if it really would be so bad if her hair had suddenly turned red...after all, many of my favourite ladies are of the flame-haired variety.

The divinely beautiful Gillian Anderson springs to mind, as does the gorgeous Nicola Roberts, not to mention Geri Halliwell...to name but three...none of whom would ever be in any danger whatsoever of being kicked out of my bed!

And then there's Tori Amos, Lulu, Bette Midler...i could go on (and on) but i'm sure you get my drift...red is symbolic of fiery passion and maybe i do have a secret thing for it after all.

I expect all of these ravishing redheaded beauties were teased about the colour of their hair when they were kids but women like these make me glad that the ginger gene is out there and flourishing in often such magnificent fashion.
