It is now 2 years since i accidentally discovered and became somewhat infatuated with The Mediaeval Baebes, a passage of time which has since seen me growing to adore them and their heavenly music with ever increasing devotion and fervour.
In fact, if you were going to create a band that was perfectly designed for my own personal tastes then this is exactly the group that you'd get; beautiful women with wonderfully angelic voices, ethereal music against a backdrop of divine dreams and medieval imagery.
Although i've not seen them in concert, i can see why they perform so often in cathedrals across the country because i can think of no other setting that could so perfectly complement their sound and aura, it really would be an amazing experience.
I daydream of wandering through a secluded woodland only to come across The Baebes themselves where they greet my arrival, perform a few impromptu songs, indulge in a goblet or two of wine with me and generally wile away the hours in a most pleasant and merry fashion.
In life, one good thing can often lead to another, which has been the case since i signed-up to Last.FM with the intention of listening to Baebes-related music which i'd hitherto been ignorant of and i've already heard many new brilliant musicians and singers; finding something new and refreshing has been so much better than simply listening again to oldies that i already know inside out.
So now you know what that widget beneath my "last comments" list means...you can now spy on what i've been enjoying anytime you please, just click on a song to have a listen yourself.

Everything you do and experience in this life time has probably something to do with it either directly or indirectly . You might not know for sure until you cross over only to learn that you knew all along when you look at your life as a whole.
It's great that you've found music to love. I'm not too keen on the music they choose to sing, but they undeniably have great voices and use them very effectively.
