Life is a strange beast at times; less than 24 hours after seeing Charley evicted from Big Brother, an event which i have greatly longed for over the past five or six weeks, i find myself thinking that the house is already dull and listless without her.

The self-proclaimed South London It Girl leaves a gaping void behind her which no amount of new halfway housemates can ever hope to fill.

The girl was gobby, infuriating, rude, vain and argumentative in the extreme...and those were just her finer points!

My own personal favourites have long since departed:

Shabnam...beautiful, charismatic, unbalanced. A potent, heady cocktail of a girl.

Nicky...sulky, brooding, delicious. A fragile heart enclosed by walls of steel.

While the rabid crowd were chanting Get Charley Out! and revelling in their open hostility by booing her appearance, i was already beginning to think that the nation had just made a terrible mistake.

I suppose it had to happen because i was just beginning to like the girl, just a tiny bit, you understand, and only for a few seconds at a time when her turbo-charged mouth paused and instead graced us with a smile.

Whoever goes on to win this years show, the true star has already gone and i'll openly admit it despite the fact that she was never a favourite of mine, to say the least.

No-one else talks at 100 mph like she does or provides such rollercoaster entertainment...surely i can't be the only one already missing Charley?
