You've possibly been worrying while i was away on holiday that i may have neglected myself and didn't take the necessary sustenance to keep me going, so this is where i hope to set your mind at ease on that particular point.

A word of warning, you may gain weight simply by reading this.

Breakfast each morning consisted of cereal, toast and a full English fry-up: eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, beans and tomato.

The meals we dined on included: scampi & chips, chicken curry & rice, fried crispy seaweed, roast pork with all the trimmings, hamburger, steak & chips, fishcake & chips, roast beef dinner, minnestrone soup, chilli con carne and a jumbo hot-dog.

Puddings and snacks included treacle pudding & custard, chocolate & ice-cream meringue, Mr Whippy ice-cream, creme brulee, creamy sponge-cakes, profiteroles and cornetto ice-cream.

Not forgetting the biscuits we kept in our room for when we got peckish.

There, not a healthy option in sight!

All this lovely food was washed down with liberal quantities of cider and blackberry wine, not together of course, because that would be simply too much.
