And if you have five seconds to spare
Then i'll tell you the story of my life:
Sixteen, clumsy and shy
I went to London and I
I booked myself in at the Y...W.C.A
I said, "I like it here, can i stay?
I like it here, can i stay?
And do you have a vacancy
For a back-scrubber?"

That might have been an ideal job for me but of course it never happened, although i tend to think that i'd have been very good at it, given the chance. What job would you have liked if you'd had the opportunity?

Some of us already get paid to do a job we love, the majority trudge through the working week wishing it was friday afternoon. Which category do i fall into i wonder? Hmmm...

It was not easy being sixteen, clumsy and shy...less easy still to be forty-odd, clumsy and shy. The more things change, the more they stay the same, which can be a good or bad thing, it all depends.

Do people ever think you're joking when you're being serious or do they think your in earnest as you inwardly smile?

Or is it just me today?
